Last Friday we celebrated our wedding reception here and wow wow wow what a day to remember 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 10 hours of fun fun fun of champagne welcome, beautiful decorations in restuarant, tasty food followed by 🔝 DJ dancing us through the night with fun karaoke slotted in between 💪💪 I started the planning process over 6 months ago and the manager Miranda was absolutely amazing planning this event and being so flexible in making this a day we will never forget…… additionally her squirrels team provided service of the highest level throughout 🩵🩵 a big thank you and huge shout out to the Squirrels simply 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic Decor and furnishings inside and out. Lovely bar garden with nice seating both in sun and shade with TV for football etc. Played nice game of Snooker too- Machine is contactless £1.50 so don't need to worry about having enough coins.

Would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the team at The Squirrels for hosting our scooter club midweek Rideout tonight. A great turnout, to a great local pub. Staff were tremendous and looked after us from start to finish. A big shout out to the kitchen staff for the fantastic chilli & chips, which went down a storm with the club members, just what the doctor ordered. Cheers also to the bar staff for the very friendly and efficient service. We look forward to coming back again, if you will have us. We had family event there. The service was brilliant and the food was a good quality, served in same time for nearly 20 people! Well done chef and well done all the front house staff! You do really good job over there! What I liked and was surprised with - there was a "first aid toiletries box" in ladies bathroom! Good stuff.

Very nice pub. Will be visiting again soon even though I do not drink alcohol.

Visited the squirrel pub Saturday for a beautiful craft event … wow that a stunning pub amazing staff the best pub food I’ve had in a long time and a truly beautifully renovated pub , clean and tidy so accommodating the pub itself is so inviting lots of areas all as stunning as each other , we will definitely be regulars family friendly and definitely worth a visit.

Great new interior & under new management. Clean, family pub, serving good food, & dog friendly, in heart of Duston Village, Northampton.

Food was cold and for a very limited Sunday lunch menu that had run out of mashed potatoes but not roast potatoes which tells me it's all coming out of packets. The veggies were under cooked and hard (not al dente) the stuffing ball was dry and over cooked and was a cheap version of paxo no actual meat in the stuffing at all. The whole pub was freezing and the tables were so wobbly and uneven we couldn't find enough beer mats to wedge it stable. Very sad experience. Best bit was someone (another customer) brought their dog in, who was lovely.
