My favourite pub in Bristol! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, great service and amazing food! I had the sea bass and my partner had the lamb shank - unbelievable. 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the area. Got the proper pub classics also with some extra dishes you probably wouldn’t expect!

What a gem hidden in plain sight! An impulsive visit for a wholesome meal. We had an awesome lunch with really tasty food and fantastic friendly service. Great prices too. Loved the huge beer garden out the back. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely fabulous pub towards the top of Gloucester Road. Friendly welcoming staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable interior but best of all a fabulous beer garden at the rear. I came here as part of the Cask Marque pub trail and the ale did not disappoint, highly recommended 👍

Had a roast dinner here, it didn’t taste bad but the potatoes and the yorkshires didn’t seem freshly made.
gave it a 4 star for the fact that you can have unlimited trimmings like roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings to fill you up and the nice lady serving us gave us extra plate fulls in the middle of the table.
unfortunately only got a very small bit of meat with the dinner but with the extra trimmings it kind of makes up for it.
