Sunday day out lunch with the family. Good service from the friendly lady as well as.good food. I did enjoy my sirloin steak meal. Well done as requested.

Came in for lunch today, and got the Thursday BOGOF offer on the burgers. This made the meal excellent value. Service was great and order came to table really fast. Would like their burgers to be a bit juicier, but that’s just my opinion.

Went here today for their re opening witj my husband and our 1 year old and wasn't impressed. We was told we could only order via the app or at the bar which was fine I didn't mind, however we suddenly noticed the same waitress was taking orders at the table so I spoke to the manager to ask her if the only way we could order was app or bar and she agreed this was correct and that the big boss was there and thats how they wanted it however when I said the waitress was literally doing table order the manager said they only did table order for old people but that wasn't true either cos we saw at least 4 people getting table service who were our age or younger. When the food came out with the waitress who seemed depressed to be there no friendly smile or engagement talking to the customers the food was mediocre at the best the tray my burger and chips came on was way too big for the size portion it was and the nachos came out in what looked like a campers mess tin. The only good thing was the new decor was nice enough. Also did right a review the same on their FB page however it seems like it was deleted or maybe they only show positive reviews

Excellent food for the price you pay. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Food is cheap and steak is always well cooked. Would recommend the slow and low short rib.

My partner and I returned to Rovers Tye after hearing it had undergone a (much-needed) refurb. We were delighted with our experience. There is presumably not loads the pub can do as a Grade II listed building but all the subtle changes made a big difference to the experience. Seems to be more and broader options on the menu, and food was lovely. Really recommend the gooey caramel waffles for dessert! The service, which had always been one of the pub's strengths, was excellent. Our receipt says we were served by Shannon, who was lovely and friendly. The upgrades to the bathroom/toilets (which were previously dark, dirty, covered in graffiti and resembled an 80s nightclub) are great. We will definitely be back again and more frequently.

The customer service was out of this world and simply phenomenal. Our waitress was so kind and lovely despite being rushed off her feet. The price is outstanding and exceptional for the portions of food you receive. One of my favourite places to eat every now and again. Every single time we leave with full tummies and leave empty plates as the food I’m simply devine and so delicious! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!

This is a great place to go for a meal and drinks with family or friends. The service we received was brilliant! The food was delicious and the drinks were well presented. Cannot fault a thing.

XL mixed grill was very well cooked and tasty. Service was excellent. We sat in a well lit part of the pub. Would come back again but book first to avoid disappointment. Six of us spent a happy Sunday afternoon there.
