Really lovely pub. 4 cask ales available - had 2 from Full Mash which were both decent. Food is home cooked, fresh and lovely. We both had the steak and stilton pie and couldn't resist the additional giant Yorkshire for £1.50. Did have big plans for a pudding but was so full from the mains we couldn't face it. Prices really good value. A really refreshing change from overpriced gastro pub type food. Genuinely cannot recommend enough.

Went today, in a party of 12. Staff were lovely, very helpful. The food was absolutely lovely. Good home cooked meals. Not your usual microwaved dinners. We mostly had something different and everyone commented on how good their food was. Piping hot, a great selection of potatoes & vegetables. Thank you so much, have booked to come again next month.
