The best pub in Reading! I stayed in Reading for a week from Australia and came here every day! Staff are super friendly. Great little pub! Food is fantastic. Highly recommend! Thank you to the staff and compliments to the chef! When I come back, I will definitely come here!

Had the pleasure of spending Mothersday at the Queens head and just wow!! The best food ever. Thank you to the chef Ben for such a cullenary experience. And then Jonathan and his staff, you guys are amazing. Friendly and on the ball at all times. I can recommend this pub to everyone. Well done guys.

Fairly decent pub with decent food and relatively decent prices. The staff were also fantastic. Pub all has sky TV so you can also watch all the sports

We went on an overnight jolly to see T rextasy Danielz.we stayed at the Best Western and were recommended to dine here at the Queen's head, Amazing place! Service was second to none and the manager went over and above to help us get a Taxi. The food was fabulous and inexpensive, Thank You Tell the Sure Hotel to let their customers know of the discount scheme!!

Spent close to £300 there with 5 friends during Crystal Palace’s FA cup win. Had to wait until the bar manager had finished watching the GP qualifying first, which was strange! We had a lovely time otherwise, spirits were high after the football, bar staff were excellent and then we get refused any further service as we were deemed too drunk. The landlord didn’t like one of our party touching an Irish flag hung on the wall. So can only assume it was related to that. I’ve seen similar reviews bad reviews about the landlord at this pub. I think he just needs to lighten up and realise when people are having fun, part of the purpose of a public house.

Was uncertain about visiting after reading trip advisor reviews, but they could not have been more wrong. Went in for a meal before the theatre, and had lovely meal, and the staff were very attentive. Would fully recommend.

Fantastic service, food, staff was very very helpful. Recommended the Tapas 3 courses ....staff couldn't do enough to help us ... highly Recommend .....will definitely be visiting again . Thank you very much ..Emma Thomas .

Popped into the queen's with a group of friends we all ordered alcoholic drinks then asked the staff about shots and we was told we was only allowed to purchase them if we are students! Absolutely ridiculous!
