One of the best places to enjoy yourself in Hillsborough, Sheffield. Staff and the people are nice, the place is very safe! I totally recommend it!

Stayed XMAS EVE AND DAY Friendly welcome and love the real pub, real people vibe for my 1st n last pint on Xmas Eve. Room 3 located at the rear and handy for final morning exit, away from any noise. Street parking for free, beyond and left behind the pub. Within 5 minutes walk of Hillsborough tram stop for easy access to Sheffield. Pubs n bars galore around Hillsborough.

Nice pub nice staff definitely go again

Excellent value for money. We paid £85 for the room with three beds which was an amazing price for three people. And dog friendly! Very happy with the room and very comfortable beds. I only took away a star because of gunk around the shower drain, not enough loo paper (less than one roll) and not convinced the floor was mopped but otherwise it was clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely book in here again

Nice friendly pub. I play poker here every Wednesday in the redtooth league. Reasonably priced drinks.

On my list of new favourite places! A really memorable place. Just intended as a convenient stop over on a long drive but ended up as a really great end to a tiring day. Brilliant English traditional pub, right opposite Hillsborough football ground, with spotlessly clean no-frills bedrooms. No fuss, let yourself out in the morning arrangement. We parked only feet away, and were greeted by an amazing landlady, a well stocked,UNDER PRICED bar and a terrific end to the day. This is really not our usual type of hotel, we’re the Marriott /Hilton type ( sadly) but I’ll always stop here if driving north to south. May even stay an extra night to soak up the lovely feeling of how pubs / people used to be.
