Popped in for a couple before the football, seemed like a good friendly place and as the weather was nice went up to the rooftop area which was nice. Will definitely pop in again next time I'm in Newport.

Our go to for breakfast, even drive from Porthcawl to enjoy it. Prices have gone up a tad but quality is still there so happy to pay the extra as it's still good value

Celebrated my husband's 40th here on Saturday night and everyone had a fantastic time! Perfect venue for around 30-60 guests comfortably.
We ordered buffet food for 25 people and even with 45 people in attendance there was too much food for everyone. Everything was fresh and a perfect mixture of beer food to keep everyone going.
We had two vegan guests and the platter they brought out for them was amazing.
Thanks to the bar staff and people running food around, much appreciated.

My partner and I recently visited for a few drinks, and we were seated in a quieter area that I was previously unaware of. It had a lovely atmosphere, and the many windows provided excellent opportunities for people-watching.

I chose the Potters Rooftop as a venue for my Wife’s 50th Birthday party get together. What a great day she had! A lady called Emma booked the party in for me and I found her to be very helpful when it came to helping me organise the day. The party went really well, the atmosphere was great and everyone commented around how lovely the venue was. Thanks for helping make my Wife’s 50th a memorable one!

Stayed for a few hours for drinks. Sport on three screens, love music - acoustic guitarist - and atmosphere was good, bar service was quick and everyone seemed chilled

Great adult pub, in all fairness but do not bring children, even in the day. They have children’s items on the menu but they didn’t like it when my kids got up and walked around, despite the pub being quiet, we were the only ones in the bottom area by the sofas. Although, suit wise, great but don’t bother advertising children menu items if you’re going get annoyed at their existence. My kids weren’t even being poorly behaved…
