Friendly staff but limited choice of beers/ale. I'd have rated it higher if i was a lager drinker. Been going occasionally for years on match days, other customers normally friendly /polite. Gets busy as expected in hour before kick off.

Pub near to Anfield Stadium that I hadn't been in for about 20yrs. The layout has changed slightly but it remains a good tidy local pub. Good range of drinks and a friendly atmosphere. Nice place to have a pre match drink down one of the side streets.
