The saddest meal I’ve ever had at this place. Frozen under seasoned vegetables, burnt, measly small potatoes, gravy like watery dish water. Bland,None of us eat our meals, complained, but no one cared. The worst experience, Disappointing to say the least.

A local pub visited for the first time. It’s pub grub but the one thing we appreciated is the food was not over priced like other local pubs….it’s actually reasonable and affordable when you have children too. Drinks weren’t horrible money. In comparison the desserts seemed expensive but they were yummy!
The food won’t blow you away but it’s good pub / homecooked style food. It was a bit busy so took a while for food to come but the service was brilliant, our waitress was lovely, great with the kids and she definitely made it worth the visit.
Lots of options for food and drink.
They got wind it was my birthday so they dressed my dessert up with a happy birthday decoration and came out singing! That was nice.
The place itself is a little dated but clean, tidy and comfortable.
The outdoor play area was clean, safe and tidy and kids loved it. Garden was well maintained and clean.
Worth a visit, we will definitely head back!!

Stumbled across this homely pub by pure chance. We enjoyed a hearty meal, traditional pub grub/American style feasts. The waygu beef burger was fantastic. All the extras, onion rings, coleslaw, all delicious.

I used to love it here but I visited today and was disappointed. I ordered a portion of chips and cheese and a gin an tonic which came to an eye watering £19. It took 50 minutes for my food to arrive and when it did it wasn't chips but French fries covered in cheese, hugely disappointing!!!!
They also need to sort the kids play area out there are planks missing from a fence that my 2 year old son managed to get ahold of!
Not impressed and won't be returning in a hurry.

Visited here a few times and always had a very friendly welcome. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Like the snug and the old school ambience, perfect 🤗

Booked a table a few weeks back. Love place to take kids as there is a play area , and lovely location. The only thing that let this place down was the quality of the food . Some food is coming out with cold spots , for an adult portions it's something my children could have eaten , fries where overcooked.. the pudding i had was delicious, though.Just could have been a little better quality. Service was lovely and the staff were great.

From the outside this looked like a lovely pub but unfortunately our experience here left much to be desired. We had a booking for 2pm but only after placing our Sunday lunch orders were informed they had already run out of roast potatoes and the beef option so we're offered chips or mash. The food took over 40min to arrive and it was an utter disappointment. The veg was a frozen veg mix, none fresh, the parsnips were tiny and over cooked, Yorkshire puddings looked good but we're bitter and burnt, gravy was thin and lacking in any flavour. The vegetarian option was from frozen and overcooked. None of the food was hot just warm. None could eat the food but we were only offered 10% off the bill. Absolutely shocking. The only positive was the waitress who was very apologetic.

A great family pub to dine in and one we always go to when I’m up visiting my family.
