Lovely pub, just out of the town centre. Great looking old- school building, with green tiled frontage. Well kept inside and out.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended if you fancy venturing slightly out of town.

I discovered this hidden gem of a pub, after getting lost in the maze that is Eastleigh's suburban road network!!!
Who designed this stupidity?
Geoff, the landlord of The Grantham, made me welcome and when he revealed that his was a cash only establishment, I was about to leave, when he said he'd buy my drink!!! I have promised to return this week and pay my debt... although I feel that Geoff might not be convinced?
This is a true, old time 'local' and he, having been here for 31 years is your archetypal landlord. Witty, friendly and welcoming...the perfect mein host. Not sure of the atmosphere at night, but on this Sunday afternoon it was very pleasant and enjoyable.
Unfortunately for me it isn't on any bus routes, so as a disabled pensioner... taking my car means 1 single pint... which is a shame as I have a feeling that this would make a great local.
Highly recommended.

An effing good pub, spoiled by the landlord who wouldn’t stop deliberately effing and blinding, and even put on a record on the jukebox (jukebox?..) by an Australian comedian of the same ilk.
We were two mature blokes who have been round the block, and who have been known to effing swear, but this was two effing much for us, and we swiftly left after just one pint (which was effing good)

Please, someone who knows the pub trade, take this beautiful pub on.

You know, sometimes you don't need fancy decor to make a pub. Essentially it's a room for people to get together. People are together, drinking and enjoying life in this boozer.

The place could really do with a refurbishment as the interior is a bit tired. Has a locals feel to it. When you walk in people do look at you if not a regular.

Lovely owners, shows real passion and could sell sand to the Arabs. Nice environment. Have to try the toffee vodka if you visit 👍

A lovely "old school"/authentic English pub. Always polite and cheerful staff, a warm welcoming atmosphere and a lovely Landlord and Landlady.
