I have not been to this place for quite some time, but someone has ovviously gone to the trouble to make the exterior look lovely. Whenever I have attended this place, the service has been excellent. We recently attended this place and the customer service was excellent. A woman with long dark hair assisted us and made pleasant conversation. The interior of the place has changed and it looks significantly nicer.

I recently had my work Christmas do at The George and I can’t recommend it enough! We had the best time! Food was great, and we took advantage of the 241 cocktails! Great atmosphere and book a booth if you can (top tip) Thanks to Mo for being so welcoming, and as if they had Santa too! So much fun

We stayed for a drink despite better judgement because there is a smell of dogs or musty mops but the football was on. The beer is rubbish. Ordered two terrible pints of Guinness, took them back because it was rank. The barman said he would change it for another guinness but couldn’t for anything else. Tried another Guinness, still terrible. Ordered and paid for 2 pints of moretti (having left the almost full pints of Guinness on the bar) the worst pints ever, worse than the Guinness, dead and tasted just off. Didn’t bother taking them back as knew it would be pointless. Never experienced a pub like it when the drinks are so off.

This is a very large pub that has quite a number of TVs, video screens, etc. showing a variety of sports. The price of the drinks is very reasonable and the bar staff are pleasant and efficient. There are various types of seating, ranging from high stools around circular tables to lounge-style sofas around larger round tables. The only slight niggle during my visit was the temperature of this pub, which was quite cold.

Popped in for breakfast what a love pub. So clean,the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Mo talked me through the ingredients and helped with my allergies . Would highly recommend.

20/01/2024 saturday i went in just to have a quality time with my sister as i have not been out in a while. But.... i asked for a yegabomb which i usually prefer to have. But the bartender guy with (silver hair) only gave me a yega shot with like a very little amount of redbull in it which woukd not have and requested him to atleast have a little more amount of the rebull in it to match the level of the yega shot. The bartender was like that is what we give!! Honestly i work in a bar myself and i think its fair to have redbull topup to match the level of the yega shot. He literally returned back the redbull back in the fridge as i stood there wondering why he wouldn't fill up my glass. Asked me to pay instead??? And I stood there thinking what????? But seriously i was really surprised and very disappointed in that behaviour. I have always loved going george but yearerday the bartender made me feel i woukd never go there again... p.s i have never seen that bartender before in george. Had met lovely bartender there before but the experience i had yesterday was unbelievable.

No food. They stopped food over a year ago, apparently. Good place to watch sport. Very welcoming.

The place is really nice. The ambiance is very good. Great music. Drinks are also very good here. Seating arrangement is also very good. Great place to party on weekends.
