Great rooms, helpful staff, good value. First time I’ve stayed in a Spoons hotel and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Receptionist Rachel booked us in, found a space for three bikes and told us a bit of the history of the place. Pub was busy - Friday night crowd - but you couldn’t hear any noise from the rooms upstairs. Good value breakfast next day, with bottomless coffee. People who work at Spoons seem to be proud of their pubs. I’ll definitely come back again.

Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and stocked. We were too late to have the room cleaned but someone still came in and replenished the water and coffee/tea. Friendly and fast staff, good food and cheap drink. It was raining outside so we really appreciated just coming up, in the lift, to our room at the end of the night 😁

We actually stayed at the hotel area. Room was far better than what we'd expected beautiful bathroom and large room. The downfall was the restaurant albeit it was enormous and well done throughout. We ordered a drink at bar and tried to pay by cash so handed over a Β£20 note and the young barman wouldn't accept it as we're from Scotland and it was only Scottish notes that we had with us. Good job we had a Bank Card too. We were so disappointed and just had to write a review and hope Mr Wetherspoon reads this. It's doubtful that we'll ever visit Barrow in Furness again as it was only a couple of days vaccination that we took but not too impressed with the town .

What a fantasticly comfortable hotel this is. Parking facilities are good and the reception staff are amazing truly must be the Star of the Wetherspoon hotel group. Very busy but you never have long to wait to be served with either food or drinks orders and the meals are first class. The rooms are in great condition and everything was Top notch.Certainly well worth a visit.

My expectations of a Wetherspoons hotel were that is would be cheap and basic with little to recommend it. How wrong I was. It was great for a decent price. The room was spacious and the air-conditioning worked a treat as it was a boiling weekend outside. The staff couldn't have been better. Only gripe from my group was that the option of a room with a bath would be nice and the WiFi was typical wetherspoons and sporadic on the Sunday.

Went for a breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Good variety on breakfast menu. Lovely service. Loads of seating. Parking is behind in a pay display carpark. Wheelchair accessible. Toilets in building.

Good food but great prices. I know that the locals state that the place is cheap but I can get drinks for less than Β£4 and food for ~Β£10. A great deal is what I call it
