Why is The Cow good for fans?
Overlooking London Stadium at Westfield Stratford City, The Cow is a handy pre-match base. It screens live sport on big screens with fixtures listed, so you can catch early kick-offs before walking to the ground. Football Ground Guide lists The Cow among pubs that accept away fans and also recommends it for home supporters, making it a mixed matchday spot. With an all-day food offering and stated food service hours, you can get a proper meal pre- or post-game. The pub also notes it’s a short walk from Stratford Station and the stadium, keeping travel simple on matchdays.
Convenient location. Very decent pub and spot to watch sports on the weekend.
Can get very busy when games are on.
Went in with a few friends, and we all had the same thing. Cyda battered Fish and chips.
It was quite good, nothing was left on any plate. I also added a side of Onion rings, good as well.
Side note: I don’t understand the addition of curry to Fish and Chips but it’s fine.
Stumbled on some beer/cider called Jubel. Very light, flavorful and refreshing, this was on the recommendation of our waiter. Had 3.
The dessert could have been better, I already enjoyed everything else so I can let that slide.
Good experience

Booked this place for a team meeting, this is the second time I have been and the service is great.
They offer various meeting rooms/spaces, the packages are great and they are happy to accommodate various dietary requirements. We booked the full day package to include unlimited tea&coffee and a lunch buffet which we loved. Great food selection and most importantly we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Andora and the rest of the team took great care of us, thank you!

Whenever I come over from Canada to watch a West Ham match I always stop into The Cow for a few pints and some food, staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food and atmosphere is great!
What I neglected to share was a good laugh I experienced in the washroom, after washing hands went to use the electric dryers, which there are two, there was a line up because there was a guy using one for each hand😂
He had the look of dare say something, big hard guy🤦🏼

Went for a brunch prior to continuing exploring the area and honestly it was great. Sat upstairs, service was great and food was excellent. Would definitely come back

Had a burger here with my family recently. It was fine. The burger was fine but was £18 and not really worth the price. The beer was fine but the guy serving us was a bit unfriendly. The decor is fine but nothing special and the tables weren’t cleaned. The atmosphere was fine but there were a few drunk guys swearing loudly and it was the middle of the day and quite quiet so not really appropriate for a family. It was all just… fine. I wouldn’t say go, I wouldn’t say avoid it, it’s a 2.5 stars out of 5 kind of place. One word of advice, if it’s raining don’t sit outside even though it’s covered, as you’re going to get wet as you can see in the video….

Incredible Fish and Chips. Went there 3x in the 4 days I was in London. My only complaint, not really a fair complaint rather than a preference, is that it was very busy (in a high traffic area in a pedestrian mall). Since it was so busy, it was pay-as-you-go versus opening a tab and having your fill.
Nonetheless, Very enjoyable.

Turned up pre match West Ham V Everton about 12, for a 15:00 KO and found this place for food. Was no availability for a sit down but they found me shortly afterwards and offered me a table upstairs with my son.
The service was on point, we ordered a Steak M/R for my son and I had the steak pie and mash.
The pie and mash was of a good standard and about right for the venue and area. £22
The steak was £26 or 28. My son wasn't happy that it was M/W vice M/R so we mentioned this to the server. They promptly offered to re do a steak for us. The 2nd steak was perfectly cooked and spot on. Although high in price but right for the area we was happy with that.
Only part I've knocked down is the steak. But as I said was corrected immediately and with respect.
Good venue downstairs for pre-match drinks. But if you are looking for a quiet meal use on non match days and you will do great.
