We friends pop in for a drink before catching our train. Wetherspoon app is very handy to order and get table service. Quick service though. Atmosphere was ok. It’s double storey venue with plenty of seatings.

Personally Ellie and Jamila set the bar for the atmosphere with customer service and have being an absolute laugh. Absolutely amazing staff members and I believe that appreciation needs to be given to them both as they both know how to provide the best customer service best experience I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for turning my evening/night into a funny and better experience.

The bar lady with the white top and red lanyard was incredibly rude to customers. It was 11:30 in the morning so not busy and presumably hadn’t been working long, so little excuse for poor customer service. Would rather spend an extra Β£1 and be served by someone who appreciates the custom. I will mention though that the younger lady in the black T-shirt with checked pants was incredibly polite to customers, it’s a shame I wasn’t served by her.

I haven't tried lunch yet, but breakfast a few times and it was very tasty. Better than Kfc or Mc donald etc etc etc.

This is a cracking Spoonz food is great and the Manageress who is on most mornings is a proper hoot 😊 and £2.99 for a breakfast muffin with a coffee that is cheaper than a Greggs takeaway !! Well done Spoonz

Took the train to Halifax for a Bill Bailey gig and decided to do the local Spoons beforehand as the food & drink prices inside the Piece Hall (like all major event venues these days) are outrageously expensive. Ham, egg and chips plus a decent pint of Three Swords was less than a tenner. Job done. As Wetherspoons pubs go. The Barum Top is not one I'd recommend. The staff are friendly, the food and drink is good but the atmosphere gets a grat big fat zero. It served its purpose.

This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a well laid out, vintage design! The chandeliers and wall decorations contribute to this, counter is well presented too and is actually curved. Me and my friend enjoyed a cocktail pitcher, sitting comfortably at a clean table!

Quick service, as expected at a Wetherspoons. My only complaint is that the coffee machine only had decaf drinks. Lovely little building, but the roadworks outside are chaos and unsightly.
