We attended for a private event and rented out the conservatory area for 25 people. Overall it was such a wonderful evening. The staff were brilliant, incredibly accommodating and the food was served efficiently and on time. We couldn’t recommend this venue more and will definitely book again! Thank you so much!

We recently attended a wedding reception here and were very impressed with the venue. The vegetarian buffet was very good and very good value for money. We had the conservatory and designated outside space and it worked well. We were well looked after and all the staff were helpful and ensured everything went well. Thank you to all the staff, we had a very happy, enjoyable time.

Great pub in a bustling part of town. Bar service very efficient and very friendly staff. Out door area great with lots of shade.

Something has gone badly wrong here. The picture of the children burger speak for itself. Terrible quality food, cooked even worst. At least they refunded the stuff that was completely inedible. All this for a 45 minutes wait. What a disaster

My friends and I booked a table in the conservatory here last week. It was amazing overall! The manager (or supervisor?) sat us down when we arrived; he’s an Irish man, and my friend who’s half-Irish had a fun convo with him. He also gave us recommendations on the menu as half of the group is vegetarian/vegan. I had the linguini which was very nice, my friends were also quite happy with their meals. We ordered the drinks at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and helpful with the drinks options, since I wasn’t sure which non-alcoholic option to go with. They have quite a nice selection of cocktails, but our group (except for me) eventually just went with Pimm’s. The price was reasonable for that area I’d say. I would probably visit again for the environment, they have a very large outdoor seating area. A member of my group had celiac disease, and our server gave her the allergen menu. She’s from the States and was quite surprised they had dedicated allergen menus. Her child was also able to choose from their children’s menu, he tends to be a picky eater but I think he enjoyed the children’s fish and chips. Very sweet and friendly staff, especially Ruby and Lauren, the place was buzzing Friday evening in the sunshine, with us even getting free Pimm's to make us smile. Highly recommend!
