The Pub has a good sports environment and good service . We are Man united fans and games always on the Television. I highly recommend the place . Thank you for good service , drinks are not too expensive.

I was worried about going there at first however I now go every Sunday and every Monday and occasionally on a Wednesday to watch the pool match that my husband has joined it is such a lovely happy atmosphere and I really enjoy it such a safe place to be yourself and amazing staff and service. I recommend going to this pub.

We've made a booking for dinner but when we got there the waitress said there is a private event going on so we had go out. She said there is signs all around the pub but when we checked again we didn't see anywhere "private event" there were signs for darts tournament but it doesn't say it's private event. It says "welcome" so we had to find another restaurant to dine. At least update your website when there is private events so people can't make booking..

I've given 2 stars to try and be fair as one time we had a great meal but then went again and the food was awful. Steak tasted strange, over cooked and more like shoe leather. Grit in the mushrooms and tepid
Ladies toilets were bad as one didn't lock and the other one was dirty.

A family Christmas party with 5 adults and 2 babies. Food was amazing lots to choose from the Christmas menu for both adults and children. Made to feel very welcome, special table set up, Christmas cards for all. Food hot and beautifully presented. Would HIGHLY recommend and will DEFINITELY book again for 2025. Sportsman is our regular pub and we go few times a month. Their meals are lovely and they do a few offers. We love have burger wed or 2 classics deal.
Services are fantastic. I have met a few ladies working and each one is friendly and caring. Food served quickly even on busy days. We sometimes sit at bar to watch a game and customers can bring their dogs in the bar area which is lovely for us dog lovers.

What a really nice pub this is, after a very long 5 hour drive from the north, we needed a good meal, we both had the steak and ale pie served with minted peas and chips. And it was very tasty and filling. The staff were super friendly too 5* from me ☺️
