Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at Sandys. I highly recommend trying for Sunday dinner. The three meat roast was delicious and left just enough room for a pudding. Vegetarian options are available. Service was great and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. ** The extra Yorkshire puddings in the pictures are £2 Each (which I'd say was a little overpriced)

Massive portions that broke me. The service was superb,very clean and a very comfortable bar/restaurant. Honestly I was very surprised at how good it was, I think being in a football club I wasn't expecting much, I couldn't believe how wrong I was. Definitely going again.

Nice polite bar staff but food poor. Served fish and chips and the chips looked like they been sat there all day. Cup of tea served tasted disgusting they needed the water changing. My nachos tasteless. Wouldn’t go again disappointed food wise.

Poor meal we had four rump steaks that were to tough to eat, made it worse when we had to get our own cutlery no steak knife! paid extra for mushroom sauce I've had thicker mushroom soup sorry but not be going back again !

First time at this lovely little place. Friendly staff. Place itself was comfortable and clean.Food was excellent, the best steak I've had in a long time. Great value for money, portion size is very good. One gripe is it's card only, not everyone will have this option apart from that I would highly recommend a meal here.

Best Sunday dinner ever!! Lovely drinks, lovely food and we have been here so many times and the food never disappoints! However I did book Saturday afternoon for Sunday, I called up asking for a table and they took my name and number but they never wrote my booking down so I felt awkward when we turned up and they told us we weren’t on the list when we definitely booked. They did make us up a table and resolved the problem though which was good service so thank you!

Sandys is our new favourite place to eat. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, lager is about £1.50 cheaper than other locals. The staff are really polite and friendly, they all actually seem happy to be working there, and a mix of ages, refreshing! I've taken my 8 year old, he loved it - it's a great family friendly local.

Went here to try the new Christmas menu they had just launched, (turns out we were customers 1 & 2), and it was absolutely SUPERB. We had the full 3 courses, which is only £18 and everything was beautiful, the food is piping hot, tastes great and you get a good sized portion. The chef, (Lenny), even came out to talk to us to make sure we were happy with everything, she was so lovely. The staff are so attentive, and Mandy at the bar always made sure we weren't waiting for drinks and did we want another round. I can't fault this place at all, great service, excellent food and warm and friendly staff, we will definitely be back!!
