A lovely Grade II Listed pub between Deptford and New Cross. Always has a wide selection of beers and wine and great food! Service is always super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit and very dog friendly.

Had a fantastic experience at The Royal Albert on New Cross Road! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. You can really tell they care about quality here. Special mention to Seb, our server, who was an absolute star. Friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed without us even asking. Service was quick, smooth, and genuinely warm, which made the whole visit feel even more welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, with that classic pub charm but a touch of modern comfort. Great spot for both a casual pint and a proper meal. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area — I’ll be coming back for sure!

The food was delicious! I had the flat iron steak and it was unreal. The price for the food is great, especially for London. It’s rare to find a great Sunday roast for less that £30 and this one’s only £18! This place deserves some recognition, especially our waiter Seb who really took care of us and made the experience great!

Absolutely delicious roast dinner, delivered with fantastic service! On Sunday evenings they play live jazz too - definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to come back to try the burgers during the week!
