Great pub. Nice food (carvery the best). Good options on the menu. Very spacious with plenty of tables & chairs.

We come here before the football games - week in, week out. Each time there are roughly 15 tables reserved, which are empty when we come in and empty when we leave. Meanwhile the football fans who want a meal before the game are left standing around, not even at the bar, but around tables making the eating atmosphere undesirable. On the positive side, the food is good quality for what you pay and it comes out from the kitchen very quickly. There is plenty enough parking and everything is reasonably priced. The majority of staff are friendly and ready to help out with the customers needs and wants. There is a plethora of televisions that broadcast plenty of sports. I personally have not tried the carvery however from what I can see on other tables it does look delicious. There is free WiFi for all of the customers and there is also a play area for the children, along with colouring sheets and provided crayons at the tills of the restaurant. There is also a multitude of pub quizzes with varying topics that appeal to any pub goer. Overall, this is a good pub to go to with a cheap bite to eat with the family or if you’re looking for a pub to go to before the rugby or football.

Visited Wacky Warehouse with children. Lovely greeting from lady on duty. Place is clean and well kept, also nice and warm on a very cold day. Enjoyed some coffees and kid's drinks. Great service by same staff member. Kid's loved the play area. Toilet areas also nice and clean. Will visit again soon, and have food next time too.

Booked table in advance on a Sunday. When we arrived our table wasn't available however we were seated quickly. We had the carvery, the server put meat on plates and told us to carry on plating up as the yorkshire pudding had run out but would get them ,we waited and waited 2 members of staff came.out and disappeared again after 15 mins finally came.with yorkshire pudding however due to.waiting our food was the not very warm and the veg was rather dry,so.was rather disappointed as in past we've always had very good service and good food ,hoping it improves

Lovely carvery. Had the small plate as was on a lunch break so only spent 30 mins here. Everything was spot on plus got a blue light card discount by downloading a voucher. Will definitely be back.

Just a basic pub atmosphere. Prices were okay and service fine, had the carvery today around 7pm and it wasn't impressive at all. Some of it was fine (turkey, carrots, mash, gravy all fine) but the roast potatoes were rock solid and inedible, they felt extremely undercooked, extremely chewy and made me want to be sick. It put me off the rest of my food. Half of them were empty on the inside somehow? The new/baby potatoes were also rock solid so I didn't even bother after having one bite. Stuffing tasted okay but half of it was stale. Sounds like from other reviews that this was just a one off, but I wouldn't bother going for a carvery again, I'll stick to the normal menu if I'm ever dragged back to this place. Needs some serious quality control.
