Just a great Victorian era local pub. Clean and tidy . A traditional style serving top end larger and a selection of real ale. A great choice to avoid tacky town places.

Great venue, we spent an entire afternoon watching football here, good service even when it's busy. Plenty of screens and generally a good atmosphere. You forget how good it is to be in a good pub with reasonably priced beers , good staff and atmosphere. We'll done cunninghams great afternoon spent inside .

Tuesday 23rd, 2024 Today, we came into this virtually unspoilt pub in Barrow This pub is an interior gem that has a great unspoilt bar This pub has a great landlord and proper working class locals If this pub would have had more than just The 1 Dalton brewed Dalton Ale on from Townhouse brewery it would have hot the full 5 stars today

Very welcoming, warm and friendly. It is also very clean and welk maintained. Nice little smoking area also. I usually visit to watch the football but regardless of the reason for visiting its a great public house.

Visited to watch England v Scotland in the 6 Nations. Lively warm and friendly atmosphere with like minded people. A lovely couple of hours
