Wonderful place to stay. Extremely helpful and quick staff. We got dessert the night we came in and it was delicious. The breakfast the next morning was even better. The best we'd had on our 2 week trip around England. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Only downside is there is no elevator so carrying heavy luggage up the stairs would be my only negative. Still give 5 stars because we absolutely loved our short time at the Wynnstay in Wrexham!
The food is very good, and the service. Bed was very comfortable, and we slept well, despite the loud argument raging in a nearby room in the early hours of the morning..........but here's the thing: this hotel is showing obvious signs of serious wear and tear issues. From large cracks down corridor wall, to small cracks on bedroom wall. From plumbing/heating pipework looking ugly to bathroom lino not fitting the room, to there are NO plug sockets on the bed side of the rooms, and the clunky, shabby looking lift has a built-in ash tray. It's a shame because the staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous. I should add to my review, as a warning to future customers. The bath in our room has a 'non slip' area where you stand when using the shower. This area was badly worn and smooth. When I was taking a shower after my review, I turned to my left to use the soap dispenser and my feet slid forward causing me to fall backwards out of the bath. I landed on my back on the floor, wrapped in the shower curtain and hit my head on the bathroom door. UPON ARRIVAL, INSIST ON A NON-SLIP MAT FOR THE BATH.
Lovely place to stay, rooms are stunning and so clean. Food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Drink range is also fantastic and staff always go above and beyond
Feye at the front desk was amazing and very cheerful. Food was very good and came out quickly. All breakfast meals come with the continental breakfast. Noone left hungry and would recommend to anyone for a filling breakfast. Feye should also get a new years bonus!
