📍 0.8 miles from Vicarage Road
A longstanding Watford supporters’ haunt, The Horns is described as a popular venue for Watford FC fans, making it a natural home-fan meeting point on matchdays. Its edge-of-town-centre location on Hempstead Road means it’s an easy pre- or post-match stop when heading to and from Vicarage Road. The pub also promotes live sports on its social channels, so you can catch early kick-offs before the game. CAMRA lists it with cask ale and a regular Greene King IPA, which suits groups looking for a straightforward pint before heading to the turnstiles.
Went to 'The Horns' Watford to see a band Sunday afternoon. They have lots of music on and open Mike night and free pool on Thursday evenings. Didn't have food so can't comment on that. Friendly fast service. Never been to this pub before would definitely go again worth a visit, great afternoon.
The Horns is back. It’s now become a favourite local and that is because of Danny. Danny and his team have made it a venue that feels both fun and safe. He genuinely cares about his patrons and you can tell that since he arrived, that the Horns is a Watford staple again because of the love and care he has put back into this Watford landmark.
Good bar nice staff but an age to get served. The live music is what I come for and it's great far better than the steakhouse before it. Who in Watford pays £30+ for a steak! Just one more thing this bar is not a :pulling' bar as no one is single here. Go to walkabout or slug for that.
Dear management; For my back to this beautiful venue tonight, I'm speechless about what Danny had been done serving massive people alone "Bravo" Who wants to complain about waiting she or he must have consideration and respect for what this man alone achieved, hope he will have a support and encouragement. Good manner doesn't cost. Kind regards K.G
Went there because I miss to listen to a live band playing. I really had a great time and there's a different singer and a band called Ricochet. It's awesome, they played a lot of different songs. Shame though the place is not so busy. Every Wednesday they have an open mike and the lady host at that night is very entertaining and funny.
