I came here by myself during a work trip to enjoy a nice beer and an evening out. It exceeded all expectations. George, the manager, is warm and welcoming, and an absolute wealth of knowledge in regard to the beers, which in themselves are excellent. I've ralrely experienced customer service this good in the UK. As a single person I sat here happily for a good few hours and felt entirely comfortable in the surroundings. Food wise - I had the festive pizza (recommend to me!) and it was absolutely epic. Haven't enjoyed a pizza like that since I left Bristol about 10 years ago. Would highly highly recommend!

I've had various Mad Squirrel beers in cans over the years, but never managed to locate any on tap, until now. We didn't have time for a full session due other commitments. However, I did partake in four thirds of the darkest beers on tap and wasn't disappointed. I also treated myself to a burger, which was cooked to perfection. My wife and I have vowed to come back when we have more time (and she's driving).

Great place and the pizza is really good. There is always something in here and I would definitely recommend this place. Life music almost every Saturday which it’s good.

Lovely pub. Great range of craft ales and pizzas/burgers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Smart toilets. And dog friendly. 🐶 Recommended 🤘

Great craft beer bar from Mad Squirrel, good food, shame the pizza oven was shutdown to be serviced, but food was good. Excellent staff and a very friendly passionate knowledgeable manager
