About this Pub

New Florence
The New Florence actively shows live football, with Sky Sports and TNT Sports listed among its facilities and a dedicated sports page promoting big-screen match coverage and fixtures. That makes it a reliable spot for pre-match meet-ups and to watch games you’re not attending. It’s also a base for Stoke City home supporters: a local supporters’ club organises coach travel to home matches from the pub, tying it directly to matchday routines. With a daily carvery and full food menu, it’s practical for fuelling up before kick-off or debriefing after the game.

Long wait for the food. When it did come was dry. Carvery food all dry too. Only 1 meat left to choose from. Staff come across like they didn't want to be there. Had a long wait for food which we was advised when we ordered which we was ok with but when it was brought to the table rather than putting the meals and puddings in front of who was having what they just left it on the end of the table for everyone to help themselves. Presentation of food and pudding was awful and very stingy with cream and ice cream on desserts. No toilet roll in toilet and very grim. No hand wash. When I informed the lady behind the bar she said the machine was broken for the last few days I questioned why there wasn't any bottled hand soap she said people steal it... That's awful but still very unhygienic knowing people be eating there food and using the toilet without being able to wash there hands. £105. For family of 5 really wasn't worth it.

Been for a lovely meal at the New Florence, food was lovely, staff was really polite and respectful. Amazing atmosphere in the place. The person who served me the whole time was full of professionalism and commitment to their job was always offering help each time I needed anything I managed to get her name (Nelly). Definitely recommend this place for a evening meal out.

The food was excellent quality and presented in an appealing way. The staff were friendly and helpful especially with those with disabilities. The vibe of the place was great and it felt cozy. Would recommend going there for a solo meal or a group meal.

Always found staff friendly although most of the time there’s not enough of them. Service is hit and miss as you tend to have to wait a while for service. Never complained about food quality always had value for money. However children’s outside play area dirty rubbish strewn around area used cutlery on floor cigarette ends everywhere. Area appears run down and dated in need of painting. Shame as pub is popular but appears owners happy to take our money but not appearing to want to reinvest in property. Popular pub in area shame it’s getting neglected

Our first time here today. Only visited the Wacky, but we were made to feel very welcome. Big shout out to Freya who helped us find a table and settle in. The kids are having a blast, highly recommend the Wacky Warehouse for all ages. Can’t wait to try a hot drink and some food next time we’re here 🩷
