A practical pre- or post-match stop thanks to long food service hours and easy logistics. CAMRA notes the carvery runs 11:30–21:00, and the venue serves food from breakfast through the evening—handy whatever the kick-off time. The official page confirms its ST1 5GP Etruria Valley location and lists on-site parking and EV charging, useful for supporters travelling by car. Beer options include local Titanic ales alongside national brands, so mixed groups can find something they like.
How is 2 slices of meat a large carvery? And look at those 'fluffy roast potatoes' as you call them. Yorkshire puddings are bland. I should have saved my £55 and ordered elsewhere. Uber eats won't refund.
i always come here for a carvery, it’s always so nice and hot , the gammon is DELICIOUS, the staff Nathan being one of them are absolutely lovely , he’s always so kind smiley and polite , he’s always busy doing something and is so helpful with everything. over all i will be coming back for the 10000th time for my delicious carvery it’s so lovely coming to a place with delicious food AND lovely staff ❤️❤️
1st time visiting on a Sunday and never again. To say this is meant to be a carvery pub how on earth do they run out of roast potato’s. It’s wasn’t like it was late. It was 4pm. I waited 20 mins in the que to get to the front for them to say roasts are going to be another 15mins. The pigs in blankets were not great either. Looked like they needed annother 10mins in the oven. Our table had a meal off the menu and that wasn’t any better. She had a bit off the chicken and said it tasted as it looked. (see picture). Now desserts. We ordered an ice cream and then a fudge cake. The ice cream came out within a few mins. 15mins later no fudge cake. So I asked she said she would check. 5 mins later still nothing so I went to the bar and as I was getting a refund it come out but by that time I’d had enough and just wanted to leave. Can I just say all your serving staff are fantastic. Very polite and apologetic. I will definitely be going else where next time tho especially on a Sunday. Stressful is an understatement
Visited here recently and had a brilliant experience. The food was honestly great – fresh, tasty, and exactly what we wanted, with plenty of flavour and good portion sizes. What really stood out though was how quickly everything arrived; we barely waited any time at all from ordering to having our meals at the table. Nathan and Steve were very friendly and efficient too, and the whole place had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. Will definitely be coming back again soon – highly recommend!
Steve at Brindley Farm In Stoke where Sunday light falls warm and slow, And plates are lined like soldiers in a row, There stood a man whose legend grew with steam— Steve moved through Brindley Farm like part of a dream. He knew the roast like others know a tune, The rhythm of the lunch rush, afternoon. With steady hand and eye both sharp and kind, He served each guest with thoughtful frame of mind. A slice of beef — not thin, nor overdone, Gravy poured with care, never too much, never none. He balanced Yorkshire puddings, proud and tall, As if each one deserved a place on the wall. The mash was smooth, the veg just right in heat, Crisp at the edge, but tender in the seat. And when he smiled, the queue would seem to ease — Like sunshine breaking through the trees. He greeted every table, young and old, Turning simple lunches into gold. No fuss, no show, no need for grand display — Just quiet skill that brightened up the day. So here’s to Steve where carving knives would shine, At Brindley Farm, that friendly dining line. In Stoke, his name still travels far — A carvery star.
