📍 0.6 miles from St. Mary's Stadium
City-centre spot in Southampton’s Cultural Quarter that Saints fans use pre-match, with walkable access from Southampton Central station (~770m). The venue also screens key football games on a big screen in the cellar bar (e.g., Women’s Euros fixtures), making it a handy place to catch early/late kick-offs. A broad craft and Belgian beer range keeps groups happy, and the kitchen normally serves meals (including Sunday roasts), which is useful for lining up before heading to St Mary’s—though check current kitchen status on their site.
A range of Belgian beers and ciders on tap and a great comedy club every other Tuesday which was fantastic. They do a pizza which seems to be wood fired and it tasted pretty good. Staff here have a good sense of humour
Very impressed with this pub. Great range of beers, cask, craft, and Belgian. The bar manager is very knowledgeable and helpful. Was the week before Christmas and the music was Christmas numbers with a blues-jazz angle. Very good and a nice change. Good vibe generally. I did not eat but menu was good and people looked like they were enjoying.
Nice and cosy downstairs! The wings were surprisingly good. Pepperoni pizza was solid but I'm not sure about the caramelised onion veggie one with walnuts, it was a bit soggy. Nice selection of ciders and beers but avoid the house brewed ciders. They're warm, not fizzy and extremely sweet like juice 😂.
Lovely cozy below ground bar with a great selection of beer, I counted 12 keg and at least 3 cask plus a fridge
Very good pub/bar about ten minutes walk from Southampton Central Station. Three cask beers on handpump when I last visited. The pub is on two levels with the main bar and drinking area in the basement/cellar. Not too busy before and after the Spurs game at St Mary's Stadium.
