City-centre spot a short walk from Preston railway station (about 400m) and close to bus routes, making it easy for travelling supporters to meet before or after a match. CAMRA/WhatPub explicitly notes it as an away-fan friendly venue, and it serves food at set lunch and evening times, which helps on matchdays. The bar focuses on rotating cask and keg from quality breweries, so there’s usually plenty of choice for groups.
This is a fabulous real pub in Preston. The food menu is small but mighty and the beers are excellent. Jonny and Simon are wonderful hosts. It's a must visit Ale house.
One of my favourite places to enjoy a pint, caters for Craft Beer nerds, as well as traditional drinkers, with a fantastic selection. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and relaxing, never any trouble and I have met plenty of lovely people. Service is absolutely top, Jonny & Luis are always friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I don’t get food enough from Winckley but have always been incredibly impressed whenever I’ve had a bite, elevated pub classics at affordable prices.
Cool city centre bar serving a great range of beers.
Been coming here for several years, the staff are always friendly. It's the one of the best places in Preston for craft ale lovers, with new ones on each week. Not the largest of places though there are some booths with comfy seats and outdoor seating at the front. Highly recommended venue !
A CAMRA Good Beer Guide pub. Popped in on a cold November evening with Madge and Jorvic. Good selection of four real ales. Decided on trying two half pints. One was a Glasshouse brewery 4.6% Pale Ale..a bit too floral for me. Also a 5% cinder toffee Porter from Docks brewery, very good. Good atmosphere on a busy evening.
