We used to love coming here, however this time when we went the manager thought my friend as too drunk and told the bouncer to kick her out, which is fair enough. And we were told that we can try again later since we asked if we could. We tried again later and was able to gain entry by a staff member, the bouncer was not by the door. So we'd assume that we were fine to be purchasing drinks. After we have paid 16 pounds for our drinks, my friend got kicked out again and I tagged along with her to make sure she's okay. After that, I wanted to go back in and get my money back, however was denied entry by the bouncer. I was not blacked out drunk and to be honest neither is my friend. I asked the bouncer kindly if I could enter and he proceeded to say we were"making a fool of ourselves" , and we "sneaked in" and we should just leave. This has left me feeling so upset as we should be able to get our money back if we have been given access by one of the member of the staff, hence we did not just "sneak in". He also said that we have lied about my friends medical condition, which was concerning as that should be deemed as considerably ignorant towards disabled people. My friend is diagnosed with ADHD and autism, which is common among the neurodivergent patients, since the two conditions often coexist. Meanwhile apparently she can only have one condition or else she is lying. As we have told the bouncer and the manager she has got both. The bouncer proceeded to call her"psychotic" and that is surely a hate speech towards my friend as they have just disclosed their medical conditions to him. This has left my friend upset and they have reacted negatively naturally, towards the bouncer. However, this behaviour should not be tolerated by us from a professional paid bouncer on the door anywhere. I do not mind about the money, but this has made me want to not return unless we can get a response from the management regarding this incident. I do not understand why could I not get back in to get my money, or why is the bouncer saying that towards my friend when they were only trying to get in and fair enough, if you don't want them to but to bring the insult into a personal level and call them a liar and psychotic, is not acceptable nor needed. And the bouncer claimed he has looked after autistic children and it is hard work to him. I am concerned that a person with such bias should be able to cater for autistic children. This incident is insanely inappropriate and the managements approach is frustrating us. I have not ever even said anything to the bouncer other than trying to be polite and respectful of his choice, I only wanted to enter to get my money back, and that was denied as apparently a guy who spoke to me and my friend as we both were outside said to him that he was going to get my stuff. I never have spoke to that man ever before him speaking to us that night and he was for sure not a friend of mine. He was also not getting anything for me, when I tried to explain that to the bouncer he said I was not going to get in, as I was lying and the friend will give me my things back. This is flabbergasting as how am I supposed to get my money back now, I have not been ever once impolite to the bouncer. Please give us a response to this horrid situation asap.

This can be a great place to visit on a night out in Preston. The staff are excellent and atmosphere is friendly and enjoyable. However what completely ruins the experience is the absolute ignorance, rudeness and disgusting attitude of the doorman who is usually on. He is so quick to judge and accuse. My friends and I have visited on multiple occasions and been allowed in no problems at all. Recently we went and were told by the doorman that a friend of mine was "on coke" and he could "see it from a mile off." That friend was denied entry. He was most certainly not on coke we are far from the type. We wouldn't even dream if smoking nevermind drugs such as coke. He was also not drunk in the slightest so it is obvious the bouncer is picking and chosing who he lets in and making excuses for people he doesn't seem to like. To make a bold accusation like this and then use it as an excuse against someone who strongly disagrees with the use of such drugs is completely rude and unprofessional and this should be addressed by a manager or someone higher up. The assumptions and accusations he makes could be really offensive to some people. On another recent occasion we were denied entry for wearing shorts that were above our knees. If this is the dress code them fair enough, however I had been in the week previously in the same outfit with no issues and when we were denied entry due to our shorts being too short he again made the same accusations before letting other people in wearing even shorter shorts. Its not just my group though, I have witnessed him speak and behave like this to multiple people from pther groups on multiple occasions. He's always ride to the nicest an most respectable people. Like Ive said previously no other pub, club or bar in Preston has ever had any issues with any of us and this place hadn't either until the Bouncers recent accusations and rudeness. I strongly advise you stay away from this place if you don't want to be heavily judged and treated awfully on the door, not to mention you might not be let in based on something you've never done in your entire life and wouldn't dream of doing. Hes made multiple people out to be something that they are not. Disgusting. Its a shame that I feel the need to say this because once you're inside (if you can get in without being judged and accused) then the place is phenomenal. The Staff are so lovely and it really is a great night out. But it's been simply ruined. I will not be returning until the bouncer is replaced or retrained and I most certainly advise anyone considering spending time here to avoid it at all costs. Its better to head to another bar or club where the doormen are friendly and make you feel safe and welcome. Its not worth the hassle here it really isn't. Some of the remarks the bouncer makes can really upset a person. It can play on their mind all night and ruin their night entirely. What if someone overthinks? Is an anxious person and scared of being accused of these things? It can be really upsetting its not right and it needs addressing sooner rather than later before too many people get upset or offended by his rude remarks and horrible attitude.

my friend was sitting quietly at a table with a glass of water while I was at the bar ordering a drink. While she was alone, the security officer approached her in an unnecessarily aggressive manner, standing over her and shouting that she needed to leave. She was not causing any disruption and was simply drinking water. When she reasonably asked why, the officer ordered her to “put the drink down now” and claimed she was too drunk, despite her only having water at that time. This situation was handled with hostility and without any regard for her safety. If the officer genuinely believed she was intoxicated, attempting to remove her alone and without checking for her friends was entirely inappropriate and potentially unsafe. When I attempted to calmly enquire about the situation, the officer falsely accused me of pushing him. This allegation is completely untrue and very distressing. I understand the officer was wearing a body camera, and I request that the footage be reviewed as it will confirm that no such incident took place. I was extremely concerned by the officer’s aggressive demeanor, his unwillingness to engage in a calm and professional discussion, and his apparent loss of control. His conduct was unprofessional, intimidating, and unacceptable in an environment where patrons should feel safe

Ships and Giggles what a fantastic evening we had here. The staff working were so friendly. We got a massive cocktail in a self serving jug. £10 an amazing price! Shocked at how cheap this was. The we had rum tango ice blasts. Absolutely genius! Really nice decor inside and a massive outside area. We look forward to returning. Thank you
