📍 2.8 miles from Deepdale
Roughly 4 miles from Preston North End’s Deepdale, so it’s a short taxi/drive for pre- or post-match. The pub runs a full daily menu (breakfast 9–11am; daily menu into the evening, up to 9:30pm on Fri/Sat), which is handy around early kick-offs or after the game. CAMRA notes multiple handpulls with up to seven cask ales, making it a solid spot for a proper pint before heading to the ground. No explicit info about showing live sport on TV, so plan for food and drinks rather than screens.
Been a few time and never ever disappoints! Food always delicious, well presented and served in a timely manor. Had the Christmas menu which was outstanding.Definitely one of our favourite eating establishments.
Really enjoyed our post walk drinks and snacks here this afternoon a very warm and friendly bar with lovely staff, the place is well presented and amenable to the requirements of the guests, dog friend so an absolute winner for future visits.
Lovely mixed feel of a luxury destination and friendly local, awesome food, welcoming staff and beautiful surroundings inside and outside.
Had a lovely meal with my cousin and her husband. They were part way through a long journey home and I arranged to meet them at Haighton Manor as it worked for us all. The menu enabled them to have something light to eat in a relaxed setting. My steak sandwich was yummy, and they had a starter each which they enjoyed. They also really liked the hot drink and mini dessert option. Food here is always good and high quality and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
Visited here for the first time today for a birthday lunch. A beautiful place. Very busy too for a week day. We booked in advance and pleased that we had. On arrival, we were welcomed by friendly bar staff and shown straight to our table, offered a variety of menu's and drinks order was taken. Table service was efficient by tentative staff. We didn't wait long for our food to be served. Freshly made, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty, I could not fault my dish. Desserts were equally delicious and when ordering a smaller portion, this was accompanied with a hot drink of our choice. The pub itself has a very relaxing and warm atmosphere. The decor is traditional with open log fire burning in the center. Dogs are welcome and there is also accommodation for overnight stays. Outside is a large car parking facility with tended gardens and despite being in the open countryside, Haighton Manor is within a short driving distance to Preston city centre and motorway networks M6/M55. I would most certainly recommend this pub & although meals were perhaps a little on the pricey side, the food was worth every penny.
