Another very loud, blokey Wetherspoons in Portsmouth. Lots of lairy geezers knocking back pints & shots at the bar, then fist pumping & staggering back to their stools. Well it was Saturday lunchtime after all. Might be what you want but not for me. Couldn't wait to leave. Average food & beer prices here. Outside seating & smoking area at the front. Another of Tim's goldmines. Keep it open Tim.
The food was piping hot. The staff were polite and attentive. I had a pint of Exmoor Beast, it was stunning, one of the best stouts I've ever had.

0 Stars (Won’t allow 0 Stars) Given out of date apple bags for children Spoke to manger politely about this and was understanding, accidents happen. Food arrived all stone cold No check back Refused refund, no customer care at all. Maybe manager was correct when she said thank you about the out of date apples, I could have sued them? Her words not mine. WILL NO RETURN
Spoons is spoons and if you go there, you fully understand what you are paying for food wise. If I order a double with no ice, be a responsible server and top my glass up with my desired mixer, dont half glass it. I am being responsible by making my drink last longer, you should to.
