The best pub food we have had in the UK. We got back from America a few weeks ago, came to visit family and this food was on the same level. Service was great and the staff were lovely. Thank you.

Today I visited Portsmouth and happened to come across this bar, so I decided to step inside. I’m not someone who usually drinks alcohol, but today I went in for a drink. The bar has several separate rooms and a fairly large outdoor area. Inside the rooms, the walls are decorated with many photos, shirts, and memorabilia, most of them related to football, which gives the place a unique and lively atmosphere. The lady behind the bar was extremely professional, friendly, and welcoming, making the experience even better. Overall, this is a beautiful bar, and among all the pubs and bars I have visited in England, this has been the best and most beautiful one so far. Highly recommended.

Visited one Sunday afternoon for drinks. It's obviously run as a restaurant with diners given priority - you're stopped as soon as you come in and asked if you have a reservation. Reasonable priced beers and friendly staff - two stars for that alone. Don't come here expecting a pub atmosphere. Weekdays and evening may be different, but with all the dining tables taking over most of the pub. The food is rated very well, but this isn't a pub for drinkers. So not really a pub at all.

Great drinking pub, possibly a good Sunday roast pub, but steak was absolutely awful. The steak pictured was a re-cooked attempt at med-rare! It was hungry horse quality for a premium price tag!!! Plenty of good steak restaurants for a very similar price in Southsea! Took about 30 mins for replacement steak, was still over cooked, and my friend had finished her meal. A round of drinks were comped but it wasn't a good experience and I wouldn't eat there again. Good for drinks and a fabulous beer garden but that's all I'd go there for
