The food here was really we'll be prepared and really hot. Especially considering how busy it was. The staff were all really friendly and there's the normal great Wetherspoons menu with something for everyone. Unfortunately, being bank holiday Friday, there were some very noisy people, especially one group. Love people enjoying themselves, but when it interrupts others' enjoyment, it's not right. This was only 6 pm. It's easy to park in the shopping centre across the road which is free for 3 hours.
Enjoyed spending few hours here. The house with double staircase was the first for me as I had never before seen it. Lovely garden with a brook running at the back. It was thoroughly relaxing to sit here and experience the tranquility. The cafe offers a selection of cakes and lunch options. There was a Repair shop the saturday we went- don't know if they have it every weekend.
This was a brilliant pub for drinking, with a multicoloured interior of white and blue! The counter is well presented, plenty of different beers available during the festival and cleanliness was solid.
Burnt burger with questionable garnish that looked slimy and stuck into the bun. Pizza? Couldn’t even call it pizza! Garlic bread could be used as a frisby. Complained about the food quality and recorded £3.44 refunded for the pizza…..
Cramped seating and a menacing atmosphere with dirty tables. I should have walked straight out but we needed a rest so against my better judgment we decided to stay and eat. Service came without a smile. I had the spicy meat feast pizza, which I’ve had elsewhere many times, but this tasted peculiar. The cheese and toppings just slid off the base. I ate half of it and thought I shouldn’t risk eating anymore. Later that afternoon I was sick. Will not return here.
