Food was excellent, we sat outside and the atmosphere was lively, fun and friendly. Lots of dogs around and they are very dog friendly. The staff were excellent; efficient, welcoming and helpful.
I really love this place. The pool table is great and well looked after. It's always clean and tidy and the people are so friendly
Has a pool table and is a quick walk from Temple Cowley. Beer selection is average. Prices aren't too bad. The place looked liked it needed some work as it looks quite dated.
But of a strange place, entrance is round the back, seems like a very 'local' pub but when I finally got served (not many people in, but the barmaid was busy in a storeroom) the beer was OK. I'm in the area for a couple of days so will probably make this my local whilst I'm here. :-)
Went to watch the football (BT sport), which we were able to do. Helpful staff. Also one of the few pubs with Coors beer on draught. Decor dated but it didn't matter to us. Car park convenient.
