Just popped in. Was greeted by an old man. Swearing saying we were parked too but plenty of room. Went in asked if they were served food and was greeted also by a miserable man behind the bar. GO to the red lion if you want a friendly pub with excellent food
My first visit to this little hidden gem of a pub! They had a Jazz night which proved to be very popular for a Monday night. Unfortunately they don't serve food but uniquely you are more than welcome to bring your own or order in and have food delivered! Plates and cutlery will be provided on request. Offering a good choice of real Ales I was served by Emma who was so friendly and welcoming. I'm really looking forward to my next visit. Cheers 🍻
One of my favourite pubs in Headington, with a nice selection of beers and short food menu. Personally, I prefer to have just a small selection of good options. I had their mushroom pie on a previous visit, so I wanted to give their mushroom pizza a try. It didn't disappoint! Very tasty, with just some chili oil on top. Don't forget the beer! I had the Meantime IPA.
Totally awesome place! Came 2 nights in a row & the food was great & the beers cold. They love friendly dogs, so bring em along. Would highly recommend! Update: I just couldn't stay away! Came back 2 more times & had the Beef Ultimate Burger! Wow! Best burger in the area by far! The Stilton is strong, so have without if required. Thanks to all Butchers Arms staff for the awesome service ;-)
Great little local pub. Excellent service and excellent beer. Need new darts though, but we managed ;) Super dog friendly 👍🐾
