Great place to pop in after the match: either before or after. It’s located up on the first floor where the bowling alley is. Follow the markings on the floor. Loads today screens and pool / snooker tables. Super fast service at the bar. Don’t be put off if it’s 5 deep at the bar - it lives quickly!
It's OK, but not the best if you want to be able to concentrate on playing. There's always at least one customer whistling or singing along to the background music, loudly. The barman walked into me when I was about to take a shot on the black. On a day when we were the only occupied table, they put a group of six teenagers on the table next to us who we had to ask to move repeatedly. The cloths are mostly excellent. The cues are straight, but have seen better days.
Went today for are first time at Js sports bar. We had a good time. The only negative thing is there isn’t much seating so it put me off ordering food as I didn’t really wanna stand & it my food which I was disappointed about because the food looks lovely. So more seating would be a bonus .
I came to this bar along with 4 friends to play pool and watch the football,when we arrived the football was on the big screen so we asked to have the sound on.35 minutes into the game and over 100 pound spent they decided to switch the sound off and play the rugby.when we tried to reason with them we was just rudely dismissed. So if your looking to play pool and watch half of the football game,come here👍 Also,for the 35 minutes we had the sound we had asked to turn the volume up as we could hardly hear it which we was denied,when the rugby was on ,the sound was put so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk.
Good pool hall, serive was fine and tables clean and busy so must be good with locals
