Really lovely restaurant, we visited at 1pm today (Monday) it was quite busy with plenty of bookings. The festive menu is really great, I had the confit duck leg, which was cooked incredibly and tasted so good. We also ordered pigs in blankets and roast potatoes as a side. Our deserts were really tasty too. I had the chocolate fondant with white chocolate icecream, my husband had the triple chocolate brownie with vanilla icecream. Carolyn was really lovely during our meal, she was really friendly and attentive too. The Rushcuttwrs is a really lovely restaurant in a beautiful area.
Hands down the best Sunday roast I have had. Absolutely amazing experience, everything from food, atmosphere and service. The food was incredible. I got the beef rib and side of honey and mustard chipolatas (6 of them came). Everything was incredible. Generous portions, high quality ingredients and really good value for money. The food quality is unmatched. The beef was cooked so well, it was moist, tender and melt in the mouth. Came with all the trimmings and lovely horseradish sauce on the side. Got four roast potatoes, good helping of veg, stuffing, yorkie ect. For desserts, we got a sticky toffee pudding which was so moist, super light and fluffy. The triple chocolate brownie was so so good. Best brownie from a restaurant. Really chocolatey and rich. The clotted cream ice cream was also so smooth and paired really well. Lovely location and convenient parking. We went on Sunday at midday, they seated us tucked away in a private corner which I really appreciated. The timing and attentiveness was perfect. The staff were all very lovely. Would highly highly recommend!
Lovely place by the river, had the fish and chips and they were very good. Staff were really great, nice and chatty and laughing whilst working, duty manager on the 18th Aug 25 was good fun and was everywhere making sure all was tiptop, young staff were very professional, the young man behind the bar (on his 3rd week) in particular looked like he had been there forever, a credit to himself and the pub. Highly recommended for food, drink and riverside view.
This gastropub offers really delicious food, great drinks, and amazing to eat by the river, its pub garden is absolutely stunning with a great atmosphere, The Steak Sandwich is absolutely delicious!, it’s the dish on the menu I most recommend!!.
First visit and it won't be the last, what a lovely place, I love the interior, beautiful location, the food was very tasty and well presented, the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us, it did get really busy and at one time no available tables, 3 menus to choose from, daily, specials and a daily special so plenty to choose from
