Here on a matchday lunchtime and not overrun, maybe as it's a bit of a step up the hill from CR. Decent local which has retained some characterand history. Sheltered outside space. Good value for an American IPA. Didn't eat.
Since Iβve lived recently to the area I must say itβs been the best place Iβve visited. I had walked in not knowing anyone but very soon met good friends. Itβs a classic/original pub with a great friendly atmosphere with great music, Saturdays you get a local pizza made fresh. The bar staff are the best and will help with anything. And to finalise the experience is the drinks are kept well and at a good cost!
I recently visited The Jubilee and had a really nice time. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The food and drinks were good quality, and everything came out quickly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Itβs a solid spot for a casual outing.
Great pub and excellent pizza. Griffs Kitchen serves pizza here Saturday evenings and it's well worth a go. Pub serves a massive array of pints and has a lovely beer garden out the back.
We came here as part of the 2017 City of Ale trail and I considered it to be the best pub. We returned yesterday, seven years later and loved the place. This time we were visited by the Landlord's lovely little dog.
