A lovely pub right on the bank of Thames. About a 10/15 minute walk from the station. Great Sunday roasts, food and/or just having a drink outside overlooking the river. One of my fav pubs in London. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
This was the first stop on our pub crawl. The pub itself is awesome with seating outside with a river view and history dating back for centuries. We visited in the early afternoon and were the only customers. There was a pungent smell inside from the moment we came in and the staff seemed a bit stressed and aloof. There’s a nice variety of beers on tap available and a nice looking menu. I would be keen to revisit this establishment as I think we visited on a bad day. Would recommend others pay it a visit if they happen to be in the area.
Friendly and lively local neighbourhood pub, with traditional pub grub and a fun atmosphere. Especially around Christmas it’s decorated beautifully. Can get busy; a popular and old establishment in a great location on the river. Good fun as part of the Wapping pub crawl, often staying in this one for longer.
Great little pub. It was really busy when we went, as the photos show, so had to wait for a table to become free, but that wasnt long Good selection of beers and wines Nice staff, and a lovely environment Would definitely go back to try their food, as it looked nice
My favourite pub in Wapping. The service is always great and you always manage to get a table / seat. The food is very decent and they do many deals during the week. My personal favourite is the 2 for 1 cocktails on a Thursday! 2 cocktails for £12, and they are great! Definitely recommend for a cosy winter night or summer time in the river garden.
