We recently visited the The Clement Attlee and came away really impressed with both the atmosphere and the quality of the food and drink. The pub has a modern yet relaxed feel, with plenty of space and a friendly, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to settle in, whether you’re there for a quick drink or a full meal. It strikes a nice balance between a traditional pub and something a bit more contemporary. One of the highlights of our visit was the German beer König Ludwig Weissbier—fresh, crisp, and full of flavour. It’s not something you find everywhere, so it was a great surprise and definitely worth trying if you’re into wheat beers. We also ordered the traditional fish and chips, which didn’t disappoint. The fish was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter, and the portion size was generous. Paired with proper chips, it was a classic done really well—simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a British pub. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience felt easy and enjoyable without being overcomplicated. Overall, The Clement Attlee is a great local pub in Limehouse—ideal for good beer, solid classic food, and a laid-back atmosphere. Definitely one to return to.
Good pub with a friendly atmosphere. Staff is really nice and they have a good selection of beers. Food is not great. Fish and chips, fish was good but it’s more French fries rather than proper chips. Shepherds pie was OK. Definitely a recommendation for a few (or more) beers, but I wouldn’t eat there again.
Today we've had a fantastic Valentine's Day four course menu at the Clem. Chefs Arturo & Henry put on a really lovely meal. All courses a real delight, perfect treat of tastes and flavours! Great real ales from John & Jasmine. We're big fans of the Sunday Roasts at The Clem, but today really special - Thanks to all!
Lovely, recently, but excellently renovated London East End pub. The guys that run this pub are on their A game. Simple menu but oh my the food is tasty. Excellent and extensive range of craft ales, and the spirits /whisky menu also equally good (without being ridiculously expensive). Definitely worth a visit
Absolute gem this place, located just outside Limehouse station. Very comfy venue, plenty of space in addition to an outdoor seating area. Staff are a credit to the pub, Jasmine especially, with both food and drink more than meeting expectations; a delicious Sunday lunch was had. I will 100% be back when next in the capital.
