Visited this spot on a Saturday afternoon, whilst in town to see a band at the Town Hall, as they advertised on their website that Rugby Union would be televised. The place was rammed, but had a real loud but friendly atmosphere, but after walking round and only seeing horse racing and football commentary on we went to The Discovery instead. We came back for a couple of drinks after the rugby and were pleasantly surprised, apart from the lack of bar staff, as most of the punters were just the friendliest bods ever. Karaoke kicked off and it was properly entertaining. If you want a quiet drink this probably isn't recommended, but if you want cheap drinks and a loud but friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you.
