📍 0.2 miles from Riverside Stadium
Six Medals is adjacent to Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium, making it a convenient pre- or post-match spot. The official site explicitly pitches it for a “pre-match pie and a pint,” and notes daily food service, which helps larger away followings get fed quickly. It’s also listed by the Football Ground Guide as a recommended option for travelling supporters near the Riverside, and CAMRA/WhatPub describes it as a large pub with several areas plus a carvery—useful when it’s heaving on matchdays. In short: close to the turnstiles, set up for food and drink all day, and commonly used by visiting fans.
Popped in today -we wanted hot “ proper “ food in a warm place - It did not disappoint- The Best steak & ale pie I’ve had in a long time - My daughter loved her ribs chips and amazing salad - Yes Amazing salad Beautiful meals Cosy warm atmosphere
Had a two course meal with my friend and the staff had the gluten free menu ready for her. Arran is very entertaining and funny, and he knows his job so well, always one step ahead. Claire is always friendly and greets us with a smile. Food is always excellent, and it’s our ‘go to’ place for a great value meal. Cannot fault any of the staff. Great place to be looked after well, especially if you have dietary needs.
The six medals is definitely the place to be. Great atmosphere and Great staff. The chefs Jei and Harry, make food hot and beautiful. And the managers Arran, Niel make the pub amazing to be in.
Lovely Luke served us on the bar. Great salesman as twisted our arm to get a double instead of a single. Very polite and friendly. Carvery wasn't the best, could have been hotter.
We were served by Neil who was very friendly and welcoming. Ordered breakfast that was very tasty nice atmosphere was lovely will be back
