We hired Hit the Bar for my daughter's 18th birthday party. Cheryl and the girls behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful. The pub is in the perfect location and was the perfect size for our friends and family to fit in comfortably. Would definitely recommend hiring this spot, it's a hidden gem.

Literally 1 min from railway station, very friendly and great service, staff always smiling even when idiots try to be clever

Hit The Bar has a good vibe, and the drinks were okay. The atmosphere was decent, but nothing too special. Service was a bit slow, and the music was either too low or not my taste. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. 3/5 stars.

Good match day experience, made all the better by a bit of nice weather and the outside bars being open

Shame this place is a little out of town, which is I know not a bad thing tbh, it’s not a very big place either but often has bands or singers on. Has a nice vibe though.
