It’s cask-led with regular ales plus guests, so you can count on a solid pint before heading to/from the game. Set on the A6 with on-site parking and a bus stop outside (Trent Barton routes 6.1–6.4, stop “Broadway”), it’s straightforward to reach from around Derby and regroup after the final whistle.

First time visiting the pub. We found it by chance on a drive out. We were looking to have a Sunday roast and this place did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming, friendly and found us a table promptly. The service was excellent with attentive staff. Had a trio of meats with fresh Yorkies and was delicious. Even had a chat with the manager as he started a conversation with us whilst we were waiting - something you don’t get often if you are not a regular so that made our visit even better. Will definitely be returning.
Me and the family visited the broadway tonight after hearing the recent good reviews from friends and I can confirm that after tonight’s visit! The food we ordered was phenomenal, everything was cooked to perfection and we was impressed especially for Sunday dinner. Food was hot and fresh! Rob the bar man was very friendly, the young lady lexi who waitered our table was polite and friendly too! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Phil the manager was attentive and welcoming to us all… I’ll be back very soon
Wonderful atmosphere, staff are lovely. The little blond lad on the bar is very helpful. I had the pleasure of being served by Beth and had a lovely experience. The food came out quickly and was delicious - and very reasonably priced.
Our choir group had a festive buffet here in December, we had a separate space and a lovely selection of food (sandwiches, chicken/mushroom bites, salads, garlic bread, etc) for £15 per person. The food came out exactly when I had requested. I had lots of communication with Phil the manager beforehand and he was very patient with all the questions! We had a great evening and they even threw in a pub quiz (well there was a pub quiz on but it felt like it had been arranged!!). Thanks Phil, we would really recommend it.
Absolutely amazing food ! I am so fussy when it comes to roast dinners and it was delicious ! Home made Yorkie pudding! The trio of meat was a very generous amount. Well done to the new chef Martin ! Will be back again
