Seven Stars shows live sport (listed with Sky on CAMRA) and is described as offering live football by the city’s tourism listing, making it a handy spot to watch matches. It’s on King Street with bus stops right outside (noted by CAMRA), so travelling to and from the city centre on matchdays is straightforward. Real-ale drinkers get dependable options like Draught Bass with rotating guests such as Marston’s Pedigree (per CAMRA/WhatPub).
A small, very old pub (established "circa 1680") on the edge of Derby city centre. It's certainly one of the prettiest and coziest public houses in Derby, but the real ale selection - considering that the town prizes itself as the real ale capital of Britain, and rightly so - is rather small indeed. Do come for the great, historic decor and the smell of times past. Staff are friendly.
Friendly historic pub with wonderful beer garden. Despite numerous attempts by the local council to destroy it due to its location between two arterial roads,it survives. Friendly atmosphere, good choice of drinks. M
There for a birthday, good drink selection, handy for parking. Friendly helpful staff ,clean toilets
Lovely one for a quiet midweek pint, great staff great vibe, great prices
Popped in during a ghost walk for a drink and this is an excellent place. Fascinating to talk to the bar staff about their spooky experiences and there is an old well visible in the bar area.
