Called in for lunch on spur of the moment, after the refurb. Staff were friendly. Food was delish. I had 2 courses on lunchtime special. My hubby had 1 course and he really enjoyed his large mixed grill! Service was good.
We visited on spec today 24/02/26 not realising it was a training day after the refurb. Refurb was fab everywhere looks fresh and clean. We were made very welcome, all options available explained, staff were lovely. The Jonty Farmer is our usual go to for good food and service but today was a bonus as we had a nice surprise of 50% discount
Been here many times throughout and after covid, cane here today 19/04/26 to find its changed hands. The pub has been refurbished looks lovely and has plenty of telly's for sports. Staff was lovely, welcoming snd helpful and the food well was absolutely fantastic. Well done, keep up the good work! 👏😀
Came in for some dinner and watched the Derby game with my other half and was pleasantly surprised. Food was hot and very tasty. I expected to wait a while for our food but it was very fast considering how busy the pub was. Plenty of staff, all very friendly and smiley and the atmosphere for the football was brilliant. Best evening in a pub we have had in a long while. Thankyou to everybody who made out visit so positive! We will definitely be returning.
Large pub/restaurant with a spacious outdoor area including some pod/ booth seating. Inside there is ample seating for diners or those just going for a drink and to watch the live sports. The food was good quality and came quickly, being very good value and generous portions. They also had special offers such as Monday being a pizza night with pizza and a drink for under £11. The dining area was clean and staff were attentive. Plenty of free parking on site.
