📍 1.8 miles from Pride Park Stadium
A short stroll from Derby city centre, the Five Lamps is highlighted by locals for its excellent real-ale choice—handy for a pre-match pint before heading to Pride Park. It sits on Trent Barton bus routes and is within a walkable corridor toward the stadium via the river, as suggested on the DCFC Fans forum. On matchdays you can expect a large selection of well-kept cask and craft beers, plus quick bites (bar snacks and regular street-food pop-ups) to keep things moving before kick-off. It’s not a designated home-only spot and is recommended to visiting supporters in local discussions, so it works as a neutral, mixed venue for both sets of fans.
Have been to this pub a few times recently, pretty impressed. They have a great range of ales and even a few flat ciders which is why I went there. Friendly staff, plenty of seating.
Well worth the short walk from town for the spacious comfort and choice of beers. My first Everards' pub and I'm well impressed.
Lovely blonde girl who served me, however when i was served by the other staff it took a good 10-15 minutes even though it was pretty much empty, it felt quite discriminatory as i knew they saw me but decided to ignore me. Fantastic beers on draught even though the customer service wasn’t quite 10/10.
Love this pub. Great selection of beers. Friendly bar staff. Bonus outdoor seating area, best enjoyed in the spring and Summer. Definitely recommend.
Been here a few times and enjoy this smashing pub. Just outside Derby city, but easy walking distance and on many bus routes. Beer great, had a lovely pint of Bass today. When I’ve eaten here in the past the food has been good too. Staff friendly and polite. Car park at rear and an outdoor seating area. Well recommended 😀
