Had my mum’s 60th birthday party at the Old Brewery and would highly recommend. Despite the gloom weather, it was a lovely party. Guests enjoyed the food. The staff were so polite, prompt and helpful. Special thanks to Oscar who was very kind and Tommy, the events manager, who organised everything very well for us and maintained communication.
Great little find straight off the ferry in Greenwich. Nice menu and allergy friendly menu. Eclectic in fittings and decorations and their own brewery as well. Worth stopping in before or after a ferry ride on the Thames
I visited this restaurant while sightseeing in Greenwich. The atmosphere was very nice. The staff were very friendly, even though they seemed busy with many customers. The food was very filling and delicious. I visited with my wife and two young sons. We ordered one pork belly roast and one Sunday roast from the kids' menu, and we were full to the brim.
I was absolutely stunned by the garden and indoor seating. This is a stunning gem in Greenwich. I've never been and I've lived here for over 30 years so I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks are great and the food portions are huge. We were a huge group and were welcomed and catered too well. The staff are friendly and honest, one member went above and beyond to help me find my friends when I looked lost. Thank you.
We held our wedding reception at the Old Brewery in August 2025. Tommy and the team could not have done enough to make our day perfect. We'd speculatively gone for a pint one evening and happened to recognise Tommy from the Weddings section of the website. Despite us not having an appointment to speak with him, Tommy went out of his way to sit and have a chat with us, and his infectious energy made us very confident that we were in good hands. We had a few planning meetings in the run-up to the day, and felt very well informed as some plans changed due to an event at the Old Royal Naval College. The team were on top of this though, and with a bit of creativity changed the layout to make it work for us. The team liaised directly with all of our vendors which meant we didn't need to worry about any setup. On which note... Tommy and the team absolutely went above and beyond with the setup of the various spaces - including our ludicrous request to bring a custom beer pong table! We delivered all of our decorations in boxes a couple of days before the event, and walked in to everything beautifully arranged with exceptional attention to detail. The decorations were arranged to complement the room - a gorgeous space with tall ceilings and plenty of highlights such as the art and the massive brewery tanks. This continued through the day with the team rearranging the decorations accordingly as the night went on. We didn't give any instructions here - just pure creative vision and we loved it! The food was incredible - great reviews all round from our guests - and we were thrilled with the flexibility in making our menu and the number of options available to our guests. All dietary requirements were handled really well including a specific allergy one of our guests has - the team made modifications to the menu to ensure they could offer something just as tasty. All of the staff throughout the day were a delight to deal with - on hand at any point to assist with the festivities, friendly, and absolutely on it - if there were any issues, we didn't know about them! For those of you thinking about a pub wedding we really could not rate the Old Brewery high enough - what better pub than one in a UNESCO world heritage site, next to the Cutty Sark, and on the Thames! We couldn't give higher praise to Tommy and the team - thank you again for making our day so special. 5/5 no notes!
