A classic Greenwich pub that combines traditional character with a well-maintained and welcoming appearance. The Kings Arms stands out immediately with its authentic façade, carefully preserved brickwork, and tasteful exterior details, including the hanging sign and floral arrangements that add a refined touch. Inside, the atmosphere reflects a proper London pub — calm, comfortable, and unpretentious. The space feels thoughtfully organised, making it suitable both for a relaxed drink and for spending more time with friends or colleagues. The overall impression is one of consistency and care rather than excess. The location is also a strong advantage, situated in one of the most historically rich parts of Greenwich, within walking distance of the main landmarks. This makes it a natural stop during a walk through the area. A solid and reliable choice for those who appreciate a traditional setting with attention to detail.
We’ve walked past this place a thousand times and finally decided to go in. What a mistake it was not to come sooner. Amazing food, top-notch service, and a truly warm, welcoming atmosphere. Special thanks to Kush and Jana for being so kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be back many more times.
We had our pre-booked 3 course Christmas lunch here. The process to arrange it was relatively smooth, although there were two glitches with the menu ordering system which didn't save our selections so we had to manually have a call with Dan to confirm our order. There was also an issue with completing our final payment so luckily I was in town for work and was able to go to the venue in person to pay ahead of time. On the day, everything went smoothly. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was decent, albeit the starter serving was a bit small in my opinion. It was a pleasant meal enjoyed by us all.
Classic Greene pub here, the seasonal menu seemed to be the way to go, lots of tasty spring dishes on there, though the duck hash from the main menu was fairly tasty, my dad thought it might have been cooked in slightly old or off oil because it didn't taste completely right. Lamb main was tasty. QR codes didn't have seasonal dishes on there so order and pay at the bar, atmosphere was quiet on a Wed early evening, perfectly pleasant.
Delicious food, great prices and extremely attentive, friendly service by Jana & Eshan. Perfect place for families with dogs - they are very welcoming with yummy treats. Food came out quickly, it was perfectly seasoned and large portions for very reasonable prices (which is difficult to find in Greenwich)! The cabbage wedge was delicious and the mushroom chilli was yummy too. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend!
