📍 0.9 miles from Ashton Gate Stadium
CAMRA lists The Orchard Inn as “away friendly” for Ashton Gate fixtures and notes it is usually busy on match days and opens earlier (11am), making it a proven pre-match meet spot. It’s also close to the ground—Swansea City’s away-day guide puts it about 0.6 miles from Ashton Gate—so you can walk to the turnstiles in good time. For a quick bite before kick-off, the pub serves freshly made rolls, pasties and other bar snacks, which helps keep things speedy on matchday. The combination of away-fan welcome, short walk to the stadium, and fast, simple food makes it a solid base before or after the game.
Some interesting Ciders I had at one of the Pubs in Bristol Docks ⛴️ yesterday, definitely worth checking out! 🤔🍺👍
Yet another great pub for real ciders they had 18 ciders when I visited. Friendly welcome. Firmly on my list of great cider pubs, will be back. I have taken some 360 degree photos for streetview so you can look around inside.
Great range of real ciders (and Thatchers if you like that kind of thing) nice home made rolls and hot pasties and sausage rolls at the bar. Always enjoy a visit to a proper pub. Cider pub of the year numerous times.
If you like cider this the pub to come to, having won numerous awards, there are ciders for all tastes ranging from dry to sweet, cloudy to clear you should be able to get a drink to suit. Food is available. Live music on certain nights and walk in acts. Very helpful and friendly staff with a knowledge of the drinks being sold,
One of my favourite pubs,a long walk but nice and it keeps you fit , been to Bristol a few times and we always have a pint or two at the orchard.
