Right opposite Ewood Park, it's a classic pre-match meeting point with early matchday opening hours, multiple TVs and Sky/TNT Sports, and a lively atmosphere specifically noted for pre-game drinks. Guides describe it as a Rovers pub that also welcomes away fans, making it a practical neutral meetup if your group is mixed. Real ale (including Thwaites Original) is regularly available, and sources mention food on offer, so you can grab something before heading through the turnstiles. If you want a quick pint within minutes of the stadium and to soak up the matchday buzz, this spot fits the bill.
My usual spot when travelling from down south for the rovers match/ Rovers event. Came for the Rovers meet the manager event and popped in for a few pints. 10/10 cant fault it. Very well priced , friendly staff , who are happy to chat . Nice old school pub . Recommend
Very friendly staff. Beer was superb for the price. Well done
Decent atmosphere and great for a couple of drinks before visiting the Empire Theatre. Went in after the gig and the ladies kept the bar open for us. Nice to enjoy a drink in a traditional pub. Will definitely visit again 👍
Always a pleasure to visit friendly chilled atmosphere
The first pub I have ever refused entry ! I was not wearing football colors but the door person advised home fans only after asking to see our tickets. There was nothing advertising this outside the pub which was also very very quiet . We were advised to go to another neighboring pub . What trouble do u expect a father and his young son to cause.
